Charles V. Millioen is an experienced criminal defense attorney with a passionate and tenacious approach to representing his clients. Having handled a wide range of criminal cases in California, he has extensive experience with jury trials and preliminary hearings. He has achieved not guilty verdicts for clients charged with homicide, pimping and pandering, sex offenses, DUI, property crimes, domestic violence, felony strike offenses, and other serious felony charges. In addition, he has also obtained dismissals of various other charges carrying the potential for life in prison.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Millioen served for years as a Deputy Public Defender, handling cases ranging from misdemeanor charges to murder.
Mr. Millioen attended Georgetown University for his undergraduate studies. He completed his master’s degree at George Mason University, and obtained his law degree from the University of San Francisco. Furthermore, Mr. Millioen is a member of the Criminal Defense Bar Association of San Diego, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, San Diego County Bar Association, and Welsh American Inn of Court. He has also given lectures to the San Diego Public Defender’s Office on criminal justice issues.
